Unexpected traffic delayed our fun
The extensive menu options for meals were excellent, including a good dessert selection. We thoroughly enjoyed the well-appointed onsen and the super comfortable beds.
Unfortunately, we were not warned about the afternoon traffic from Odawara Station, which turned what should have been a 40-minute ride into a frustrating 105-minute ordeal. It impacted our planning.

wonderful access to parks and art in hakone
During our two-night stay, we appreciated how quickly we could stroll to the Hakone Museum of Art, just a short 500 meters away, and the amazing Hakone Open-Air Museum, almost 2 km from us. Both places offered fine views and enriching experiences that complemented our walks around the charming streets of Hakone.

Luxurious hot spring bath services.
Our experience was marred by poor service. The staff's English was inadequate, which led to misunderstandings. We even received incorrect breakfast items during our rushed morning.
